Woman in shock evacuated from Apostle Islands

The 20-year-old suffered an allergic reaction to peanuts and was taken by the U.S. Coast Guard Station Bayfield via a utility boat and transferred to a hospital.

A 20-year-old woman in shock was evacuated from the Apostle Islands early today, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The Arizona woman, in shock after an allergic reaction to peanuts, was taken from Otter Island by the U.S. Coast Guard Station Bayfield via a utility boat and transferred to Ashland Memorial Medical Center.

She is listed in stable condition.
