Take our comics survey
We want your feedback! Tell us which comics you want us to keep or discard, and which comics we should consider adding to the mix. Surveys are accepted through Monday, March 9.
The Duluth News Tribune invites you to take our comics survey. This is not a scientific survey, but rather a chance for us to get a general sense of what you, our readers, want in your comics section. We encourage you to tell us which comics you want us to keep or discard, and which comics we should consider adding to the mix. Whether you’re an avid reader of the comics, or someone who scans through the strips occasionally, we want to hear from you. All surveys must be received in our office (Comics, Duluth News Tribune, 424 W. First St., Duluth, MN 55802) no later than Monday, March 9, 2009.
Instructions
Please click on the "Comics Survey 1: Possible Replacements" link. It contains comics that we do not currently carry. To help you get familiar with these strips, we have included samples of them in the Scrapbook section in the Feb. 22 paper. You may also view samples by visiting the following Web sites:
www.creators.com/comics.html
www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/comics.htm
www.tmsfeatures.com/comics
www.unitedfeatures.com
www.amuniversal.com/ups/features/features_all.htm
If you find something of interest that was not listed in the survey, please include your selection in the “Readers’ Choice” section of our survey. You may also include any additional comments about our comics.
After you complete and submit "Comics Survey 1:Possible Replacements," please click the "Comics Survey 2: Current Comics" link. It contains comics that we currently carry on Sunday and/or throughout the week. Please take a look at a Sunday and daily paper if you need a refresher.
If you have any questions about this process, please e-mail scrapbook@duluthnews.com or call BreAnn Graber at 218-723-5374. The results of the survey will appear in late March, followed by some possible changes in later months.
