Program for homeless, at-risk youth is Thursday in Duluth

Local businesses, social services, citizens, and faith-based groups have partnered to bring resources to one location where those in need can find services like food and clothing, housing, employment, medical and mental health care, and education assistance.

Homeless and at-risk youth can find help at Duluth’s first “Youth Connect” from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Life House, 102 W. First Street.

Life House and the Heading Home St. Louis County — Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness Committee are hosting Thursday’s event. Their goal is to connect Duluth’s homeless and at-risk youth with the services they need to more out of homelessness.

Local businesses, social services, citizens, and faith-based groups have partnered to bring resources to one location where those in need can find services like food and clothing, housing, employment, medical and mental health care, and education assistance. Life House will also distribute necessities like toiletries, underwear, and socks at the event.
