About Us

Russell LaCourse, Attorney at Law
Russ is a native of Brainerd, Minnesota and a 1981 graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and continues to enjoy following the Gophers as well as the Twins, UMD Bulldogs, and local high school teams. When not following his favorite sports teams, Russ also enjoys traveling and reading non-fiction books. He and wife Cheryl live in Cloquet, Minnesota and have three children: Becca, Emmy and Peter. Russ moved to the area in 1984 and has represented injured people in the Northern Minnesota since then.
Rodger T Klosowsky, Legal Assistant
Rodger is a life-long Duluthian and University of Minnesota Duluth alumnus. He has spent over 40 years working in the personal injury and workers compensation field. Rodger has served as elected president of the Arrowhead Association of Legal Assistants and the Duluth Adjusters' Association. A graduate of Duluth Central High School, Rodger was an all-state basketball player who was later named the coach of the year in 1994 for his service as the Duluth East High School varsity softball coach. When not golfing or fishing, Rodger and his wife June enjoy spending time with their two daughters Tammy Sequin and Lisa Katzmarek, and their three grandchildren. Michele Timmons, Legal Assistant & Office Manager
Michele is a 1982 graduate of Grand Rapids, Minnesota High School. Michele enjoys spending her summers camping with her husband Chris, her daughters Jennifer and Megan, and their two dogs. You may also see Michele and Chris enjoying a summer evening on their motorcycles around the Northland. Working with Russ since 1990, Michele is an experienced legal assistant and office manager who will work tirelessly with insurance adjusters to ensure you're getting the greatest possible entitlement.
Jenna Yasgar, Legal Assistant
Jenna is a 2007 graduate of Lake Superior College's Paralegal Studies program where she was named Student of the Year. A lifetime Duluth resident and graduate of Duluth Denfeld High School, Jenna enjoys spending her time outdoors hunting, fishing and camping with her fiancé Jim Palumbo. Jenna joined the LaCourse Law Office in 2007 where she uses her knowledge and compassion to make your legal experience as smooth and stress free as possible.

Location
We are conveniently located in the heart of beautiful downtown Duluth in the #600 suite of the Missabe Building at 227 West First Street.
Directions
From I-35 North, simply take the Superior Street exit. Turn left at First Ave W, and left again at First Street. Drive two blocks to the corner of Third Ave W and First Street. The Missabe Building is on the corner.
From the North take Highway 53 South toward downtown Duluth. Take a right at Mesaba Avenue. Just past the first stop light on Mesaba Avenue, take the Second Avenue West exit to your right. Go down to First Street and take a right. The Mesabi Building is on the next corner.
Parking
You can park free of charge in the Holiday Inn Parking ramp located on First Street between Second and Third Avenue West. Bring your ramp ticket and we will validate for you.
