Fishing Report November 14, 2009
The fishing has pretty much come to a standstill for the open water season. Most are putting the boats away and getting ready for winter. The lake still is fish able but not many are out there since it feels like winter already. I would bet the Walleyes are still along the break lines in 6-8 ft of water, so if you want to give it a try that's where I would go.
The small game hunting for grouse has actually been very good for those on foot stomping through the woods. There are tons of trails in our area for walkers as well as atv riders looking for a good time and a few grouse. The Lost River area has been really good lately. Weather is a big factor for grouse behavior so sunny calm winded days are best for keeping them on the ground and out on the trails.
So far deer season has been another good one. Many deer have been registered and a few big bucks have com in too. The biggest we registered was a 13 pointer. WOW thats big!! Good luck and be safe.
