Senator's view: A safe workplace is not unreasonable“In early June, a group of employees working at a drilling site in Iron County were violently accosted. Some of those involved in this attack have pledged that they will be back and next time there will be more of them. In addition to this incident, it has been reported that one of the roads used by employees was filled with over 20 makeshift road blocks to prevent emergency help from reaching testing sites and that bolts were removed from a bridge to make it unstable for vehicles to cross. These actions and threats are something that I take seriously as a legislator.
