Our View: Amy Klobuchar for U.S. Senate

If there’s any question how tough Amy Klobuchar is, take a look back at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Then, two speakers took the floor to share their experiences as no-nonsense county attorneys: Klobuchar and John Kerry. Kerry went on to see his presidential campaign torpedoed by swift boaters taking liberties with the truth. Klobuchar, facing a similar onslaught by opponent Mark Kennedy, has made mincemeat of her attacker.
