Local view: Community book program explores world of uncredited Tiffany designer

Things are not always what they seem. The iconic stained glass lamps sold by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800s once were thought to have been designed by Tiffany himself. However, in 2005, a group of art historians discovered that these lamps actually were the work of a woman, Clara Driscoll, who worked for Louis Comfort Tiffany for many years but never got credit for her designs.
