Do it: Grab the snowshoes

There’s enough snow now for some decent snowshoeing. Strap ’em on. Take a walk up a North Shore stream, avoiding areas of open water. It’s best to travel with a group, or at least one other person. Try the French, the Sucker or Schmidt Creek. Start along the Minnesota Highway 61 expressway and go upstream.
