Man will serve 5 years for Park Point beach assault

A Duluth man testified Tuesday that he repeatedly kicked a friend in the head until he fell over unconscious because he had called him a racial epithet. The man then pleaded guilty to assault and agreed to serve a longer-than-guideline prison sentence.
