WLSSD gets $4.3M for flood repairs from FEMA, state

The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced Friday that it has given the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District a $2 million grant to help repair the district’s Scanlon Interceptor sewage line damaged in last June’s massive rain and flood event.
