Astro Bob blog: Sun blows Earth a kiss - will she blush?

The sun hurled a CME in Earth's direction this morning at 1:24 a.m. (CST). The spray of particle may reach us in 1 to 3 days and possibly make the Arctic sky blush with auroras. Maybe they'll even sneak down to reach the northern U.S. too. We also visit with a Saturnian sculptor named Daphnis.
