College women's hockey: UMD searching for second-half spark

The quality of Minnesota Duluth’s opponents for 2012-13 wasn’t a secret. Coach Shannon Miller told her players it would be a grind. That proved true in the season’s first half, with the Bulldogs playing the toughest schedule in Division I women’s hockey, according to a computer evaluation.
