Astro Bob blog: Asteroid 2012 XE54 may be eclipsed during close flyby tonight

Newly-discovered asteroid 2012 XE54 will fly by Earth tonight only 139,500 miles away or slightly more than half the distance to the moon. Those with telescopes might see it eclipsed by Earth's shadow.
