Reader’s view: Geometry in story on giant sequoia didn’t add up

According to an article about giant sequoias by Tracy Cone of the Associated Press on Page A3 of the Dec. 3 News Tribune, “The President” is the second-largest tree in the world with a diameter of 93 feet (“Upon further review, giant sequoia tops a neighbor”).
