Residents ask court to order environmental review of mineral leases

The ad-hoc group, with many of its members from Lake County, says the Department of Natural Resources should conduct an environmental assessment worksheet before it offers leases to mining companies to explore for gold, copper, nickel, platinum and other metals across Northeastern Minnesota.
