Reader's view: American flag missing from National Guard parade unit

My husband Bill and I live in East Bethel, Minn., and came up to Duluth for the Christmas City of the North parade on Friday, Nov. 16. The National Guard led the parade, but we didn’t see anyone from the Guard carrying an American flag.
