Top U.S. general's e-mails investigated in Petraeus scandal

The sex scandal that led to CIA Director David Petraeus’ downfall widened today, ensnaring another acclaimed military figure with word the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan is under investigation for alleged “inappropriate communications” with a woman who received threatening e-mails from Petraeus’ girlfriend.
