Astro Bob blog: Goldilocks planet HD 40307g finds the porridge "just right"

A newly discovered planet with 7 times the mass of Earth orbits in the habitable or "Goldilocks" zone around the star HD 40307 in the southern constellation Pictor the Easel. It's comfy enough for liquid water to form on its surface.
