Sam Cook: Taking stock of matters of the heart this Valentine's Day

This is going to be a good Valentine’s Day at our place. The reason is that a few days ago, we weren’t so sure Valentine’s Day would be so routine. My valentine suffered a “small to medium” stroke — even now the words seem crazy — last weekend. Her prognosis is excellent.
