Andrea T. When I'm shopping at wall-mart myself, I find myself and peer group in the same description as the lady in the article (not huffing). What sparked that thought is that wall-mart is the only place I've seen "canned duster". Perhaps it's sold other places too. And yes, the ageing car is probly a sign of numerous other problems, I should know, my truck is thirteen years old. Where your world and mine differ is that all the folks I know that work, pay taxes, carry insurance, etc, are too busy to do things this stupid. My job exposes me to folks in "the system". By the time they are huffing, everything else has fallen apart and they are now a burden on their friends, families, and public welfare. Just my observation, I don't know what the offical stats say, I guess that makes me ignorant, maybe my punnishent should be to read through and consider other reader's comments. That makes a discussion. Nice talking with all you.

I've met her before. I'd like to know how much of our tax dollars have paid to support her lifestyle.

I'm interested in the fact that the paper is publishing pictures of the driver but not listing her name. That doesn't seem right to me. Neither does huffing, in general, but, what do I know, guess I don't know what I'm missing since it's an unbelievably common way to get high.

Hey BK - I am not sure how you would punish her stupidity...I am also not sure if you can punish your ignorance? When you figure it out, please clear the air and let everyone know. There are plenty of tax paying citizens who have insurance, drive crappy cars, shop at Walmart and have very good paying jobs that have done things more stupid than that. It just didn't make the front page of the paper.

Aaron H...if you think "huffing" is only a problem in Duluth, you are quite mistaken. In fact, I think the problem is worse in metropolitan areas where poverty is more rampant.

nope n. What does living in West Duluth have anything to do with the article? Nowhere in the article did it state she lived in West Duluth. Stay on topic and quit being judgemental on something you are obviously ignorant about. This lady should be locked away, it's just as dangerous as any other addiction. Who knows what her motives were, honestly who cares, the idiot was locked up for what she did. I actually witnessed this accident, I don't know if anyone on here did. It was a mess and thankfully the Police Department got it cleaned up quickly.
