Those of you saying "gee, she just make a mistake.....let's cut her some slack and get her help"-----------appears she's on probation from a previous violation and this substance abuse was a violation of her probation. I think she's had her chance.

For those of you taking shots at Duluth. I grew up in Two Harbors and have lived in many towns and countries during my 33-year military career. Duluth and the area is as good as they come. Grow up. This is about an individual. Brian Gordon, Bassett Lake

I have witnessed what becomes of people who huff this stuff. A 22 year old man who worked for me died as a result of use. The Doc told us that the "air" freezes lung tissue and the victim suffocates even though the lungs are able to expand and contract. This young man left behind a newborn baby a 5 year old and his disabled wife

Okay here is some in site on this girl she has been using for a long time now and it just recently started to be this inhaling stuff.. She has to huff because she is on drug court. Not has too, but chooses too.. She has 3 children that are beautiful and she has been going down a path of destruction for awhile.. She is very smart and intelligent as I went to school with her.. I only see her every once in awhile cause of Duluth being so so small.. She also had just gotten out of jail the same day for almost similar charges.. I love her and hope that this opens her eyes to see the flippen light.. She is a great person stuck on bad stuff.. I'm not saying don't punish her either I'm hoping for maximum punishment here cause without it she will not learn.. And if I.I.U don't learn from this and the Duluth police department don't than we have a bigger problem in Duluth than we thought cause she has been turned in numerous amounts of times and she has had one to many people tell her that her life is going down the crapper and she just don't care cause she is to messed up to relies.. They need to punish her and make her work for her to get her children back... Maybe she will wake up and grow up!!!

Slowly commiting suicide...luckily she didn't kill anyone. I hope she's not totally brain damaged and actually sobers up one day and realizes what she did. Hopefully instead of feeling like a failure in life, she'll realize she's actually incredibly lucky!

Mike B, nobody's saying she shouldn't get the help she clearly needs. We just want her sorry butt thrown in jail first to keep the rest of society safe until she does get that help.
