Its to bad to see some of the readers comments in regards to this lady. A dog gets treated with better dignity. We all have problems at one time or another in life. This person obviously has some major issues to address. I would rather my tax dollars go to help her rather than being wasted in Iraq. Ps, being from Milwaukee, Duluth is a great place to visit and one day I hope to live in Duluth!

The News Tribune publishes photos of criminal suspects all the time. What's the difference with this one? Absolutely none.

Wow, over 100 comments about this incident. Maybe this woman will think twice before getting behind the wheel of a car while on any substance that has impaired her ability to drive. Wait...probably not. Odds are she will end up doing the same thing over and over. Still, nothing like a little public humiliation by having a picture of yourself posted on the internet when you plow into a building while huffing. She must be honored to have so much attention...this must nearly be a record for comments on one story in the DNT.

How bad does this paper need to get before someone does something? Why are there pictures of this girl, especially while doing the sobriety test? I'm not a journalist or english major but I've counted more misspelled words this week than I have appendages and now this. Unbelievably unprofessional and tacky!

FROM MULTIMEDIA EDITOR JIMMY BELLAMY: There are pictures from the scene because Fox 21 News was on site for the story. Let me know of those misspelled words and I will make corrections. Thanks for reading, Matt.

If the car was registered to the passenger, Dena H., then there was a crime committed by the passenger. Otherwise, there is not. There should be a statute for misdemeanor stupid. Certainly would apply here.

Joe G: I agree in a way. Treatment only works for people that are ready to accept it and actually want it. If she's ordered to treatment, she should be required to reimburse the cost of it if she ever uses drugs again. That way, if it doesn't 'take', the taxpayers aren't out anything.
