Unbelievable. Money could have been better spent in the classroom on books. Can't wait until those morons are off the board and Dixon is out. I'm sure they'll spend all our money first. How the heck did Cameron get voted back in?

I think the red plan will be rolled out half way, Dixon will leave in the dark of night and the lawsuits will begin.

Get real !
The curtain is going to cost only $20, and JCI will get the remainder.

Brad R...because he's a moron who doesn't give a rats behind about how he's spending the taxpayers money, that's why! I'd be willing to bet that IF any ONE of those board members had to PAY $2,300.00 out of their pocket for this lovely curtain, it would become a $23 curtain from Target!!!!

Yep, updates are needed, and I support that but not the way this Board is dealing with it. Did anyone watch the School Board meeting last night. ? The District is spending $2300.00 on a school nurse curtain. - without competitive bids. Mr Glass asks good questions. "Why does a curtain cost $2300.00?" Mr Hansen from the Administration adds "It is a SPECIAL curtain and it INCLUDES INSTALLATION" Mr Glass asks "Why was this not open to competitive bids to save taxpayers money?" - Mr Hansen said something along the line of "We are fortunate to have experience with this particular company and the expertise they bring" This is the kind of stuff that is coming in under the radar with this long range plan. I support updating these buildings but no longer believe anything this administration does because of the tactics.

An investment in the future of Duluth Public Schools. We follow the legacy of those before us who supported public schools. A solid investment - will stand the test of time.
