I'm fascinated by social rituals, so watched it, expecting it to be an over-the-top circus. It actually was quite moving, especially the little girl, Paris, at the end, telling the world that no matter what the world thinks about him, she loved her daddy. I grew up on the Jacksons, and really liked MJ through the '80s, til he started getting weird. The fact that someone not much older than I died so suddenly -- reminds me of my own mortality.

I'm the most important person in my life because without me, I wouldn't exist. Or something.

Lorrie- wow! You took this very personal! It makes me wonder what type of person you are... I can see that you honor people who use drugs and sleep with little boys... I hope you don't have a family!

Lyle A-Yes, hopefully that is exactly what Michael is doing!! He shared his life with children and for children because they are our future. No one is over 30 years old in Heaven, so I sure hope all the children and him are having so much fun, my grandson included!! Dan H-Like I have said before, our lives are already planned out for us. "Out-of-control-drug addicts" are people too. God had a plan for their lives. Elvis and Michael had a plan for their life and obviously had fulfilled it and were called back to God. Just as my grandson and his mother and my mother (who passed 10 years ago today) had their life plan and had fulfilled it, were called back to God. I think my comments show Who is most important in my life and Who I put on a golden pedestal and admire. God is most important in my life. I DO admire many people for their magnificent talents, as I'm sure many admire celebrities whether they be actors, singers, directors, etc...... God Bless

I just can't put a person like Jackson on a golden pedestal and admire him. Your priorities are very odd, Lorrie.

Yes, Lorrie, sometimes the good die young. And sometimes people who are out-of-control drug addicts die young, too. You know, like Elvis and Jackson.

I do not believe in a hearafter but if there was one maybe Michael could go to were he could play and sleep with little boys as that would be his idea of heaven. Lyle Anderson

The memorial service was magnificent! I'm sure Michael was looking over the whole thing and approved of every bit of it. I'm sure he is especially proud of his beautiful daughter, Paris. Dan H.-..."the kid is not my son."-what does that have to do with anything?? G L.-they wore sunglasses, gold ties, and one glove in memory of Michael. andrea k-If you don't know what this world is coming to, I feel sorry for you. Allan L., Bruce H. -very mature! J K.-so true about Z!! And, of course, Z--never mind, your not even worth a comment!! As some of you have pointed out, he was a father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and one of the most talented people in the world. Elvis was also a great talent and his life also ended way to soon. As they say, the good die young!! Another saying some of you could use, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". Goodnite Michael and God Bless
