You folks on the left must have been bursting with pride when Senator Franken was quizzing Sotomayor about Perry Mason episodes.

I must wake up, so this nightmare can end!

um Dan H. It doesnt matter how long Norm coleman has lived here, he is still from the east coast, and he was still in denial over the election!

Dan H, uh, what elementary school and what high school did Norm attend? And, uh, where do Norm's parents live? What neighborhood did Norm grow up in?

Marilyn H, what are you smoking? "Legalistic"? There is no such thing as a "partial birth abortion" GWBush kept us safe from what? "partial birth abortions"? How one throws a baseball is hardly a measure of their manliness, intelligence or anything except how they throw a baseball. If Clinton's lies turned you into a conservative, then Bush's lies should have flipped you to being a flaming radical lefty. Your writing is repulsive. Robin, the MN Supreme court did NOT decide that election and did NOT GIVE the election to anyone, the voters did, the SC simply reviewed Norm's challenge and determined that it was without merit; in other words the supreme court let the election results as reported by the canvassing board and the review committee stand as reported, Franken won because he got more votes than Coleman.

Um, Sharon, Norm Coleman has lived in Minnesota for over 30 years. Franken has lived here for four. Now who's the outsider?

My thoughts are that the MN Supreme Court must have had it's eyes closed and it's ears plugged and it's brains turned off to give the Senate seat to Al Franken when it was so obviously a crooked deal all the way. Shame on them.

It's about time! Colman had a problem accepting the outcome and was in denial far too long at the expense of a Minnesota seat. Hope he goes back to the east coast where he came from.

Norm had a role (not roll) in keeping the 148th, but so did Amy Klobuchar and Jim Oberstar; who cares about the pro sports; he did not clean up St Paul, that's a fabrication; Al will get the same tributes once he is a member, they always fete their own; "He has gone through a lot, he has two children that have died." I'm not sure what that has to do with any comparison, do you have to have your kids die to give you credibility?; Al grew up in MN, went to Minnesota schools, and still has family here. Compare the two? Sure OK, Al supports more issues I am concerned with and is far more representative of my interests, and does not have the baggage as a lackey to the Bush regime.

Al Franken grew up in MN, Norm moved here as an adult.
