Z, the majority agree with me, it would appear the real silent majority"
is liberal. Dan, you have the strangest defintion of "common sense" I have
encountered, the fact that your "internet searches" always turn up question-
able conservative results defies your claim. Besides, all too often your sources
turn out to be bogus and your positions illogical.

Jim, all my views are based on common sense. If you haven't noticed that, you're not trying hard enough. Because I disagree with you and Louis doesn't make me uninformed or ignorant. It just makes me right. Where I get my news is usually the internet. I don't watch much television. I rarely have the radio on and when I do it's music, not news. So I read a lot. Fox, MSNBC, newspapers, blogs...I don't care where the information comes from. Most stories link to related stories, which ends up sending me on a search for more information from wherever I can find it. I like to see what both ends of the spectrum are saying. There are freaks and extremists on both sides who are entertaining, too, if not informative. Then I make up my mind.

None of this will matter to either of you because I'm always right and you're always wrong.

Maybe Dan, while you at it you could tell us some of the liberal sources you listen to so you can make your fair and balanced decisions. I have to agree with Jim G.

Dan H....ummmm sure. I have yet to read a single post that you have made that shows any "common sense," "curiousness" or "fairness." You haven't contributed anything except to stick up for conservative radio's "high ratings" and stumped for Norm because he has lived here for 30 years. Anyway, enough of that...if you want to show me how fair, curious and "common sensed" you are, you can start by telling me what you think about the Supreme Court's decision, instead of constantly pushing conservative ideologies and stumping for conservative candidates.

Hey Dan, if you don't or haven't listened to or read any of those conservative sources how can you say that you "operate with as much information from all sides before making a decision." It seems that you have contradicted yourself.

Jim, I listened to Rush Limbaugh's radio show a few times back in the early 1990s. Haven't listened to it since. I've never read any of the many books written by Ann Coulter. I don't watch Sean Hannity's show or listen to his radio show. I am, however, burdened with common sense and a brain that likes to operate with as much information from all sides before making a decision. That doesn't make me right-wing, conservative or ignorant. Just curious and fair before I make a decision or reach a conclusion or form an opinion about something. I realize people like you and Louis see the world in black-and-white and liberal vs. conservative, but I don't.

Thanks, Jim, you are right and I do know that nothing I say will change anything about them, but I am somewhat compelled to counter their misconceptions. Oh, I am persistent though and not much affected by their attacks.

Louis N...I applaud your attempts to try and inform the ignorant, right-wing folks who like to frequent this site, but unfortunately your work is probably in vain. Most of the people you are speaking to, likely never leave their homes and get most of their "news and information" from conservative radio celebrities like Rush and Ann Coulter. My advice to you is to keep trying...but don't be disenheartened when your intelligent and informed thoughts do not sink into the ignorant minds who post here. I have tried, but unfortunately most of these folks are too uninterested in hearing the truth. Instead they would prefer to continue on in their lives where they feel they know all the answers...but really don't know much at all. Kudos to you Louis!

william, you are sadly mistaken. We have suffered the incompetence of the republicans for far too long, the democrats are most certainly NOT the ignorant ones, it is the republicans who are simply deluding themselves.
