Z, what will you do when you run out of fingers? bob, I accepted long ago
that Bush became president, what I was fearful of at the time was the disaster
that occurred over those eight years. You then agree then that Pawlenty became
Governor by default. I always did and still do sleep well at night, but I have renewed
Confidence in my government.

louis n. Minneapolis, MN, no I will not agree Bush was appointed, as per laws in place he won against Gore by Electoral votes. Pawlenty won by to quote you, the most votes. Biggest difference here is I will not lay wake each night crying because we now have a Senator in MN named Franken, verses liberals still crying about 2000 election.

Good bob w, we've finally got your attention. You are right, Al did not get a majority, just the most votes. Now I am sure you will agree that Pawlenty became governor "by default" as well as Bush in 2004, but Bush did not even get the most votes in 2000, so I am sure that you would agree that Bush was appointed once and won by default once.

To somewhat quote the liberals, he didn't get the majority of the people to vote for him, so he is not the choice of the majority, Franken just happens to get to be the Senator from MN by default. Now Moderator, can we find something new to complain about, please!

Z, the majority agree with me, it would appear the real silent majority"
is liberal. Dan, you have the strangest defintion of "common sense" I have
encountered, the fact that your "internet searches" always turn up question-
able conservative results defies your claim. Besides, all too often your sources
turn out to be bogus and your positions illogical.

Again Dan you didn't read my full statement, no use pointing that out to you though. I do think the last election kind of settles the majority thing for now. Your response, of course, ignores the main points I brought up about your "common sense". Maybe, Dan, you can explain what is "common sense" about your failure to accept that Al Franken won and that the supreme court did NOT "give" him the election?

The majority of who, Louis? You and Jim? The rest of the trees out in the woods?

Jim, all my views are based on common sense. If you haven't noticed that, you're not trying hard enough. Because I disagree with you and Louis doesn't make me uninformed or ignorant. It just makes me right. Where I get my news is usually the internet. I don't watch much television. I rarely have the radio on and when I do it's music, not news. So I read a lot. Fox, MSNBC, newspapers, blogs...I don't care where the information comes from. Most stories link to related stories, which ends up sending me on a search for more information from wherever I can find it. I like to see what both ends of the spectrum are saying. There are freaks and extremists on both sides who are entertaining, too, if not informative. Then I make up my mind.

None of this will matter to either of you because I'm always right and you're always wrong.

Maybe Dan, while you at it you could tell us some of the liberal sources you listen to so you can make your fair and balanced decisions. I have to agree with Jim G.
