Lucky L.- The reason Mommy and Daddy are the ones selling to their co-workers and friends is because you can't send a young child out now-a-days selling ANYTHING door to door. If it was still the 60's & 70's, they would be out there selling them. No one is "trapping" anyone into buying them, if you don't want to buy them then all you have to say is "NO THANK YOU". GL.- Love your comment! My favorite were Samoas. I haven't bought any for a long time because I don't know anyone who sells them. It would be nice if they would charge less and give you more, like they use to.

Samoas and Thin Mints. Unfortunately our local council changed and they no longer offer Samoas. The replacement looks the same but the caramel is different...and not as good. The new ones are a total let down.

Hey LUckyL you got a definate point. I'm a product of the early 80's and I remember having to do all the footwork myself. Now we always have numerous MOmmys harassing us at work because their kids are "selling cookies". And yes it is uber-annoying.

Al J - you haven't seen a girl scout selling cookies in your neighborhood because MOMMY and DADDY sell the cookies for them at work or they get their kids on the phone to all their relatives to try and trap them into buying. I, along with a lot of others, CANNOT afford those cookies - haven't for years. Besides, those cookies are overrated; a pretty good marketing tactic though making them seem so good. Anyway, for all you parents out there who hock things for your kids - stop it. It annoys the rest of us. And if you are a kid from the 60's or 70's you'll recall selling this stuff YOURSELF!!

Thin Mints are the best, but the ones with coconut and chocolate are 2nd choice, too.

Thin Mints and the one pictured with the article. So yummy!! Also I used to like the Samoas before they went and changed them to Milk Chocolate (I'm a HUGE dark chocolate fan).
