Lake Superior Writers presents "Fire & Ice" poetry and prose reading at Beaner's Central, 324 N. Central Ave., Duluth on Sunday, March 10, 1 to 3 pm. There will be open mic time; just sign up when you arrive. Readers will include Deb Cooper, Duluth's current Poet Laureate, Gary Boelhower, Liz Minette, Meredith Cornett, Marie Zhuikov and more.
