The Carlton County Historical Society announces a series of Wednesday programs at noon about the Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibit Why Treaties Matter: Self-Government in the Dakota and Ojibwe Nations currently on view at the museum. The next Noontime Bag Lunch program is on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Visitors are encouraged to bring their bag lunch, refreshments and desserts will be served.
