Annie, the Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie. Annie ran for nearly six years on Broadway. It spawned numerous productions in may countries, as well as national tours, two movie versions, and a 20th anniversary revival in 1997. It was honored with a Tony Award for Best Musical in 1977. The musical's songs "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard-Knock Life" are songs you may recognize. It will return to Broadway in 2012.
