Twenty seven regional artists interpret the Stations of the Cross in a local context. Artists, from varying spiritual backgrounds, have created original artwork in a variety of mediums ranging from glass to oil paint to clay. Some pieces are interactive while others are abstract and many incorporate the natural environment. Each piece grapples with universal concepts such as empathy for a stranger, relinquishing security and courage in adversity.
