Rudy Carlson is receiving the 2009 Teaching in Excellence Award Saturday May 16th at the Duluth Seventh-day Adventist Church. Rudy teaches at Stone Ridge Christian School, which is a one room school house on Orange street in Duluth. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is the second largest denominational school system in the world. Rudy was chosen out of 5000 teachers in Canada, US, and Mexico. The award is to inspire and reward excellence in K-12 education.
