Alden "Al" Trostad, 86, of Duluth.

Al was a World War II Air Force Veteran who served with the 153rd Liason Squadron in Europe and a Mason in Duluth with the Euclid Lodge 198 for over 60 years. Al loved fishing in northern Minnesota and was a wonderful person who will be missed. He was a lifelong member of United Methodist Church in Morgan Park.

Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Esther Trostad and brother, Gale Trostad.

Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Lou ( Gude); four children, Linda (Edward) Aquilino, Jeffrey (Susan), Gregory (Betty), Robin (Jim) Murray; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, Jesse, Meagan, Nate, Mike and Jade; three great-grandchildren, James, Hunter and Natalie, many cousins, relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnesota Masonic Home, 11501 Masonic Home Dr, Bloomington, MN 55437. Kapala-Glodek
