Jim and Pat Hanson 50th wedding anniversary

Jim and Pat Hanson of Two Harbors celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at their home Sept. 6.

Jim and the former Pat Wallace were married Oct. 25, 1958, in Our Lady of Mercy Church on Park Point.

Their children are Laura Hanson of Duluth; Carolyn and Clyde Bergman and Eric and Viola Hanson, all of Two Harbors; Ann and Mike Arneson of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; Joan and Gary Krecker of Turtle Lake, Wis.; and Chris Hanson of Alexandria, Minn. They have 12 grandchildren.

Jim is retired from Duluth Mesabi and Iron Range Railway in Two Harbors. Pat is a homemaker. The couple also owned a hobby farm and raised beef cattle for 40 years.
