Johnson, Nielsen engagement

Laura Johnson of Saginaw and Andrew Nielsen of Blaine, Minn., plan to be married Saturday in Peace in Christ Lutheran Church in Hermantown.

Her parents are Marvin and Martha Johnson of Saginaw. His parents are Linda and Dr. Michael Nielsen of McCook, Neb.

The future bride, a 1998 graduate of Proctor High School, graduated from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. She is a lead materials and test laboratory technician at Cirrus Design Corp. in Duluth.

The future groom, a 1996 graduate of McCook Senior High School, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics in commercial aviation. He is a freight pilot for Pro Aire Cargo and Consulting in Blaine, Minn.
