Carringten, Johnson wedding

Amber Carringten and Scott Johnson, both of Duluth, were married Aug. 16 in Duluth Vineyard Church.

Her mother is Sharyn Carringten of Hibbing. His parents are Brian and Chris Johnson of Britt.

The bride chose her sister, Kim Carrington, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were LeAnn Adkisson, Rachel Ricke and Natalie Young.

The groom chose his brother, Chad Johnson, as best man. Groomsmen were Sean Olson, Michael Heikkinen and Peter Greiner.

The bride, a 2003 graduate of Hibbing High School, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

The groom, a 2004 home school graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences this year from the College of St. Scholastica, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
