Emma Jean Arnswald, 74, of Pollock Pines, Calif., formerly of Duluth, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, at her daughter's home.
She was born in July of 1939 in Duluth, to Walter and Lorraine Horn.
Emma attended St. Peter and Paul and St. Jeans Catholic Schools in Duluth. She worked for many years as an owner and operator of the Horn's Drive In in Scanlon. In 1975 she moved to California where she met and married Jack Arnswald in Reseda, Calif., in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Butch.
Emma is survived by her husband Jack Arnswald of Pollock Pines, Calif.; five daughters, Marianne (Keith) Plante of Barnum, Corrie VanBuren of Farmington, Tina Bauer of Bellview, Mo., Tammie (Ken) Vallet Sandre of Farmington, Teresa (Carlos) Galvan of Corpus Christi, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Jo (Dennis) Gagnon of Duluth, Lorrie (Tom) Ondracek of Duluth, Geraldine Kozloski of Medford, Ore., Lois May Tveit of Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.
