The Engwalls Corn Maze and Agritainment Center is open and ready for you to explore. The Corn Maze is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (dusk to 9 p.m. for flashlight tours) and Sundays from 10 a.m. to
“These are typically our biggest weeks of the fall and it’s all capped off with our Halloween ‘Corn-i-ville’ and ‘Field of Screams’ the last weekend of the month, October 26 and 27,” said Tracy Lundeen, Engwalls Corn Maze co-owner.
The fourth annual “Corn-i-ville” is on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. This is a Halloween event for kids that includes trick-or-treating, indoor carnival games, a costume contest and more.
The maze will turn into a “Field of Screams” October 26 and 27. The haunted maze experience is not for the faint of heart and is open from dusk until 9 p.m. each night.
The cost for the corn maze is $8 for adults and $7 for children age 12 and under. There is no charge for children 2 years and younger. The corn maze admission ticket also includes access to the mini maze, corn pits, and a shot on the corn cannon. Hay rides are also available for $2 per person with the purchase of a corn maze ticket or $4 without a corn maze ticket.
“We’re also proud to be a drop-off point for Coats for Kids throughout the month,” said Lundeen. “It’s a great program sponsored by Benna Ford Roush, where people can bring in new and gently used coats throughout the month of October to be distributed to those in need as the colder weather arrives.”
Regional charities will also be receiving $1 of each full paid admission to the corn maze to help support their programs. To date, the Engwalls Corn Maze has donated more than $15,000 to charitable organizations throughout the area.
Free parking is available on the Engwalls Corn Maze site at 4749 Hermantown Road in Hermantown.
The Engwalls Corn Maze is sponsored by Benna Ford Roush and Hermantown Federal Credit Union.
