Rosemarie Hoy, 66, of Cloquet, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 after a 12 year struggle with Multiple Myeloma.
She was born Dec. 5, 1946 in New York City to Thomas and Louise Martin, Sr.
Rosemarie was a graduate of Houghton College, attended New York University, Moody Bible College and the University of Wisconsin, Superior attaining a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. She dedicated her time to Christian Education, as a teacher, at St. Paul’s Academy and later at the Cloquet Christian Academy.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Martin, Jr. and a sister, Betty Thomas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Terry; children, Jared (Courtney) of Madison, Wis., and Jeramarie (Thomas) Warden of Esko; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Margie McDonnell, John (Jane) Martin, George (Marion) Martin and Barb (Dave) Eggen; sister-in-law, Janis Thomas and brother-in-law, Hugh Thomas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
