Lucille Ann Bush, 87, of Carlton, went home to Jesus her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 in Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton.
She was born Feb. 12,1926 in Duluth, the daughter of Delmer and Clara Anderson.
Lucille was a 1944 graduate of Carlton High School. After graduation, she worked at Kinney Pharmacy in Carlton and at the Carlton County Courthouse. Lucille married James Bush on Nov. 13, 1948 in Cloquet and became a homemaker when their first child was born.
Lucille was a loving wife, mother, and was the “best grandma”. She will be fondly remembered as an excellent hostess and her willingness to give to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Johnson; and brother, Edward Anderson.
Lucille is survived by her husband, James, of Carlton; daughters, Peggy (Paul) Ohlrogge of Cloquet, Barbara (Dean) Habhegger of Edisto Island, S.C.,, and Jeanne (Michael) Kruchowski of Cloquet; son, Jeffrey (Sharon) Bush of Duluth; brothers, Rodney Anderson of Fort Collins, Colo., and Donald Anderson of Kettle River; sister, Sally (Leo) Wagman of Carlton; grandchildren, Rachel Ohlrogge, Leah (David) Fritsche, Seth (Beth) Habhegger, Jared, Janella, and John Kruchowski, and Cassia and Demetri Bush; and four great grandsons with a new great grandson due to arrive in February.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service, Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Lunch will follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
