Dale Erickson passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born in Cloquet, Minn., on Jan. 24, 1938 to Glen and Alice (Phipps) Erickson.
He grew up and attended schools in Cloquet and joined the U.S. Army in 1955, was honorably discharged in 1957, and retired after 20 years of active army reserve duty. Dale is survived by his son Craig (Asmeeta); grandchildren Sierra and Glen all of Rochester, Minn.; sister-in-law Gladys; nephews Brian, Mark, and Scott Erickson all of Iowa.
