A family doctor from Canada will talk about his nation’s health-care system next week in Duluth.
Dr. Stewart Kennedy, who also is an executive at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Services Center, will talk about misconceptions Americans have about the Canadian system.
The event, sponsored by the Citizens Federation, is Sept. 26 at Holy Family Church, 2430 W. Third St. A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a fajita dinner at 6. Kennedy’s talk will begin at 7 and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
