Marvin Clark, 84, of Brookston passed away Aug. 28, 2013 in his home.
He was born Nov. 15, 1928 in Culver, Minn., to George and Helia Clark and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Marvin attended Brookston schools, enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951 and served in Korea. His hobbies included John Deere collecting and restoring, Polka dancing, painting and creating cartoon art drawings, farming and carpentry. With all his hobbies Marvin possessed a serious side but also a unique sense of humor.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother Raymond Clark; sister Janet Blais and dear companion Lillian Noska.
He is survived by daughters Nanette (Craig) Follett, Dawn Stamper, and Laurie (Bruce) Sclavi; brothers George Clark Jr., and Robert (Nancy) Clark; eight great grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. in Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet. Military honors will be conducted by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard.
