Libby Jo Kittelson
BORN AT: 8:59 a.m. July 12, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces, and measuring 20.1 inches.
PARENTS: Brian and Lisa Kittelson of Duluth
SIBLINGS: Abigail, 2.
GRANDPARENTS: Steve and JoAnn Maniak and Tim and Patti Kittelson, all of Duluth.
GREAT-GRANDPARENTS: Gertrude “Gerti” Maniak of Kettle River; Donna Kittelson of Barron, Wis.; and the late Harry Maniak, Theodore Kittelson, John and Dorothy Zywot, and William and Florence Rand.
PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: We both like the name Libby, especially since it sounds like her big sister’s nickname, Abby. Libby is linked to Great-grandma Dorothy’s middle name, Elizabeth, and Jo is linked throughout the Zywot family.
SOMETHING SPECIAL: Mom’s water broke in the middle of the night and we headed to the hospital. After being at the hospital for one hour, I snuck my hand out ahead of my head and delivery plans quickly changed. On the Ellen Show after I was delivered she said it was National Hi-Five Day. Everyone was talking about my unique delivery.
