Windy City proposal
Six days before I moved to South Korea for one year, Peter surprised me with the most wonderful wedding proposal in Chicago.
We went to a small garden next to Northwestern University’s library, and he gave me a book filled with pictures of all of the places we had lived and visited as a couple. After I’d looked through it and cried, he got down on one knee and proposed. After I said yes, a limo took us to a live broadcast of a Prairie Home Companion in the Chicago area, where he had a message read for me on stage by Garrison Keillor. Finally, we went downtown for dinner at the top of the John Hancock tower. It was incredible!
