A Duluth nonprofit has taken up the cause of redistributing medical equipment and supplies.
ReCares in Duluth invites people to visit if they are in need of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, briefs, shower chairs, tub transfer bench, chux (disposable bed pans) and similar items. The nonprofit, which is affiliated with R. Ralph Ministries Inc. of Duluth, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2331 W. Third St.
Anyone with such items that are no longer needed is encouraged to bring them in or to call Ron at (218) 310-4716 for free pickup.
