Minnesota author Paul Batz will be the keynote speaker during the fourth annual Community Wellness Day on Saturday.
The free event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus. Parking will be free at all meters, pay lots and maroon lots, a UMD news release said.
It will be centered at Romano Gym, but Batz will speak at 1 p.m. at the Marshall Performing Arts Center. Batz will speak on the “F’s” in his book, “What Really Works: Blending the Seven F’s for the Life You Imagine!” The F’s are faith, family, finances, fitness, friends, fun and future.
Fifty exhibitors will be on hand to provide information about health and fitness, public safety, environmental awareness and financial literacy. Rock-climbing will be offered, along with a variety of children’s activities led by UMD athletes.
The event is coordinated by UMD Health Services, St. Louis County and the city of Duluth Bridge to Wellness.
