The Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic First Street Building will remain closed today, spokeswoman Kim Kaiser said.
The building was evacuated and closed Tuesday when 12 employees and two patients complained of symptoms from a strong odor.
Although the odor has not persisted, extensive air-quality testing hasn’t revealed the source, Kaiser said.
About 85 percent of appointments that had been scheduled for today at the First Street Building will take place at other Essentia Health locations in downtown Duluth and in neighborhood clinics, Kaiser said. Patients are being notified of changes by phone.
Results of air-quality tests that were sent to New York are expected this morning, Kaiser said.
